SUNY Potsdam Install
DWT installed a D3 turbine on a 12m tower at SUNY Potsdam yesterday. The state university is planning using the turbine to offset electrical consumption and as a teaching tool in their sustainability curriculum. Data will be logged and displayable using a system currently under development at Clarkson University.
Roof Install at Council Rock
One of our partners, Council Rock, asked for a roof install at their factory in Rochester, NY. We were happy to oblige! They are working on a solar + wind solution using their solar and our wind. Sounds like a great plan to us!!
D3 Turbine Installed on the Berry Farm
Long time residents of Potsdam, Ron and Gail Berry bought a D3 turbine for their farm. They already had a solar install and wanted to add wind. Many thanks for their interest and their purchase! They are looking forward to many years of energy production and so are we!!
SUNY Potsdam Orders a Turbine!
The State University of New York in Potsdam, NY has decided to install a D3 turbine on their campus. It will be used as an educational tooling and a learning environment. DWT is very thankful for the opportunity to help educate our next generation about renewable energy!
Test Site Turbine Rotor Updated
The Gen 2 turbine at the Clarkson Wind Turbine Test Site was fitted with a new rotor and will undergo testing in the coming weeks. This unit compliments the test units at Intertek and Asgaard Farms. Looking forward to seeing how it integrates with our new control system!
Off Grid Turbine Installed at Headquarters
We now have a turbine installed at our global headquarters in Potsdam NY. This a demonstration rig for our off-grid system. Since we needed a load, we decided to put some lights on the turbine and the result has garnered a lot of rubber-necking on Highway 11.
